We Offer the Insurance Your Salon Needs
Hair and nail salons need more than the regular
insurance. The specialty salon insurance program from InsurancePoliciesOnline
offers the specialized coverage your salon needs. If a client sues over the
service you provided, it may not be covered under a regular policy. A quote from
us will
include coverage for your business property, general liability and professional
liability coverage. We can also provide worker's compensation.
Salon Insurance Coverage
Property Insurance - Coverage for
the building and business contents. This policy will also provide coverage for spoilage, mechanical breakdown and lost income in the event of damage to the
building that prevents you from operating.
General Liability - Protection for your liability against bodily injury or
property damage to a third party. This includes slip & fall coverage for injury to customers.
Professional Liability - Claims
for damages based on professional services are only covered under a beauticians
professional liability policy.
Worker's Compensation - Coverage for injury to employees. Work comp
is the only insurance for employee injury occurring on the job
Beautician Insurance Eligibility
To qualify for the preferred rates of our specialty Hair & Nail Salon Insurance program,
eligible businesses will display the following characteristics:
- Have at least 2 years in business or 3 years management experience.
- No prior bankruptcies, tax or credit liens.
- No tanning, body piercing (ears are OK), permanent cosmetic application, hair transplants,
tatooing or electrolysis.
- Massage services are limited to scalp, hands, feet and face.

No products sold under your own name or private label.

Florida Risks: We are unable to offer a quote for business' with the primary
location in Florida. If you have multiple locations with the majority of them located
outside of Florida, please enter one of the non-FL loctions as the primary location.
You may then add the FL address as a secondary location.
