Coffee Shop Insurance Coverage
Property Insurance - Coverage for
the building and business contents. This policy will also provide coverage for spoilage, mechanical breakdown and lost income in the event of damage to the
building that prevents you from operating.
General Liability - Protection for your liability against bodily injury or
property damage to a third party. This included product liability for your
coffee and food sales as well as slip & fall coverage for injury to customers.
Worker's Compensation - Coverage for injury to employees. Work comp
is the only insurance for employee injury occurring on the job
Program Eligibility Rules
To qualify for the preferred rates of our specialty coffee shop insurance program,
eligible businesses will display the following characteristics:
- Have at least 2 years in business or 3 years management experience.
- No prior bankruptcies, tax or credit liens.
- No sales of alcohol
- No cooking or baking (microwave, toaster oven, deli type preparation is acceptable)
