Q: What is a Builders Risk policy and what does it cover?
A: Builder’s risk insurance is a property policy providing coverage for a structure during the course of construction. (It is also referred to as Course of Construction Insurance.) The policy will cover the structure and materials at the job site. Coverage is provided for damage caused by fire, theft, lighting and other causes.

Q: Will my policy cover my personal liability or my contractor liability?
A: NO. A builders risk policy DOES NOT provide any legal liability. It is a property only coverage.

Q: How long does it take to obtain my builders risk insurance quote?
A: Depending on your situation, if all the provided information is complete, it generally takes less than 2 business days for us to have your quote ready.  More complicated projects may take a bit longer; however, every quote requested is handled in a fast, professional manner.

Q: How can I pay for my policy?
A: If you agree to our proposal, then you will be emailed an electronic invoice. You can then either 1) print out and send in with a check, 2) use a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express), or 3) use a PayPal account. Under certain circumstances, a wire transfer direct to our bank acccount could used.

Q: Do your companies offer payment plans?
A: Builders Risk policies must be paid in full before the policy is issued.

Q: How long will it take to receive my policy?
A: Policy delivery generally occurs within 5 business days of binding; however, Evidence of Insurance forms for your lender, etc., are issued as soon as your payment is verified.
